How to maintain a lathe machine
One Disassemble and clean the oil lubrication cartridge; wipe clean all sliding surfaces and rail surfaces of the general lathe. Wipe clean the worktable and cross slide, lifting spindle, clean the tool transmission mechanism and tool holder.
Two Lubricate the clean and clear oil holes evenly and refill lubricating oil; all rail surfaces and sliding surfaces and silk rods are filled with lubricating oil; check the main machine power transmission mechanism, oil surfaces, and refill fuel to the high level.
Three Tighten the fastening parts of the general lathe. Check and tighten the pressure plate and screws; check and tighten the screws fastening the slide bar, the walking tool transmission mechanism, the handwheel, and the worktable support screws; check other button parts for loose screws.
Four Check the adjustment of the belt, pressure plate, and spring insertion for appropriateness; check and adjust the position of the slide bar and silk rods.
5- Remove rusty parts, protect painted surfaces from impact; stop operation. Navigation surfaces of backup equipment, rotating rods of slide bars, and parts exposed to external rust.
