Machine operators are the ones who come into the most contact with numerically controlled lathes and can understand the "rhythm" of the machine's operation. They use machine tools all day long, accumulate a wealth of practical experience, and understand the condition of various parts of the machine. Proper usage and careful maintenance often have a significant impact on the condition of CNC machines. Therefore, qualified CNC operators must have the following basic qualifications:
a) Have high intellectual qualifications, work diligently, honestly, and with good work ethics. Able to patiently study technical knowledge, possess higher cultural knowledge, and have extensive practical experience.
b) Proficient in operation and programming, able to responsibly, accurately, and skillfully perform various CNC machine operations. Skilled in programming methods, able to correctly write appropriate processing programs, and avoid machine errors caused by operational or programming mistakes.
c) Deeply understand the characteristics of machine tools and thoroughly comprehend the operating rules of the machines. Have a deeper understanding of the characteristics of machine tools and can investigate to understand working conditions and certain rules. Daily maintenance and upkeep performed by responsible operators can be done correctly and skillfully, thus maintaining the good condition of the machine tools.
d) Thoroughly understand the working process and the content of maintenance and inspection. You should know the basic operating rules and safe working procedures of this machine tool. The content of daily maintenance and inspection and the standards achieved, specific components of maintenance and lubrication, and requirements. Know the grade of oil (grease) used in this machine tool, substitute oil (grease) grades, normal pressure of the hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
e) Handle seriously and record any abnormal situations and signals found during operation. When errors occur, they must be handled promptly and correctly, and as quickly as possible to find maintenance personnel for repair. During repairs, closely coordinate with maintenance staff to jointly diagnose and repair machine problems.
